if your property doesn’t fall under the Significant Landscape Overlay or Vegetation Protection Overlay zones of Glen Eira council then, you have the liberty to remove or cut a tree without the need to ask for the council’s permission. Also check that there aren’t any covenants or caveats for trees on Title.
